April 2026 Payment Dates by ID Numbers
SASSA will process the R370 allocations during two designated payment windows: 23–24 April and 29–30 April 2026. Payments are made in line with beneficiaries’ ID number groupings, helping to manage customer volumes at pay points across the country. This system ensures a smoother process and reduces the risk of overcrowding at collection sites.
Beneficiaries must remember that funds generally take between two and three working days to reflect in their personal bank accounts after SASSA initiates the transfer. The agency asks clients to exercise patience during this standard banking clearance window.
Checking Status and Collecting Funds
Recipients must verify their payment status on the official digital portal before attempting to withdraw cash. The system sends a direct SMS notification once the money becomes available.
Direct bank deposits remain the recommended and most secure method to receive the monthly stipend. Those without personal bank accounts can collect cash at designated national retail partners. Participating supermarkets include Pick n Pay, Boxer, Shoprite, Checkers, and Usave locations. Clients using Postbank accounts or existing SASSA gold cards can draw their money from any standard commercial ATM across the country.
Citizens must ensure their personal details and banking profiles remain accurate on the official web portal. Incorrect records are the primary cause of delayed disbursements. Client profiles flag automatically when identity numbers fail to match registered cellular numbers or banking details.
